"Iran has two billion tons of gold." All the gold ever mined in human history: about 223,000 tons. That's roughly 9,000 times the entire global supply — claimed by a state-media "expert," on air, with total confidence. Not a slip of the tongue. A full breakdown: the government has some, the mines have some, the people have some. This isn't funny. It's the standard of "analysis" from the same platform that tells a nation what to think about war, sanctions and its own economy. If a man can't tell a million from a billion, apply that same accuracy to everything else he says on air. Save the real number. Use it the next time someone hands you a statistic. Drop a comment and send this to the person who still believes them.
