A history lesson for those too young to remember: after 1979, Sadegh Khalkhali executed the Shah's officials, then traveled city to city executing detained political opponents. Trials lasted one minute — sometimes thirty seconds. A licensed killer, approved by Khomeini. That role is now played by Mohseni-Ejei.
