The call for artificial "unity" is a dangerous mirage. The Iranian movement seeking the complete overthrow of the Islamic Republic does not need to compromise its principles or lower its standards to appease leftist or Islamist factions. If a free referendum were held in Iran today, the overwhelming majority would vote for the return of the monarchy. Compromising national standards for the sake of forced coalitions only weakens the struggle. What do you think?
