David Barnea made this categorical prediction0:14on Thursday evening, August 27th, the fifth of Mehr, that is, a few hours ago, at0:19a ceremony honoring him at the Jerusalem City Council. The Jerusalem Post report was published around nine0:26at night about this, with this headline: "Barnea, former Mossad chief, says the Iranian regime0:33will fall through a combination of military operations and economic pressure." Barnea said at0:39this ceremony that the decision to impose the harshest sanctions against Iran was a correct decision and worthy of praise,0:47but sanctions are only one stage of the work. In my view, there is no alternative but to intensify0:53economic, political and operational measures against this regime until it falls, and1:00this regime will fall.1:03Barnea also said that the people of Iran are eager for the end of this government so that they may see a glimmer of light,1:10and now the United States, Israel and a large part of the Western world have also, more than before,1:16reached the conclusion that the Islamic Republic is not just Israel's problem, but rather, with its nuclear program, its ballistic1:24missiles and its proxy networks, it is an international threat. According to Barnea, the important change today is1:31that the Iranian regime is no longer an issue that Israel is compelled to confront1:36alone. The global understanding of the nature of the Islamic Republic's danger has deepened, and the will for all-out1:43pressure on it has also increased.1:48The significance of these words for Iranians who these days are living under crushing economic pressure and repression1:55lies in the fact that one of the most well-informed security figures in the region regards the collapse of the Islamic Republic2:03not as a distant dream, but as an achievable outcome of the combination of foreign pressure and the will of the Iranian people.2:11His remarks, of course, do not mean setting a definite date for the fall or guaranteeing that the fall will happen quickly.2:18Barnea is speaking of a step-by-step path, not an overnight event. Nevertheless,2:24its message is clear and, for the regime's opponents, highly encouraging.Captionمنبع / Source: https://youtu.be/eqCUrv-l820?t=50Clipped from KoochehSourceKoocheh2026Regime collapseMossad
