On Friday night, on state television, Masoud Pezeshkian rang what can only be described as the regime's death knell. One month earlier, a message from the regime's absent leader warned officials: "Don't say discouraging things — admitting weakness emboldens the enemy." Instead, Pezeshkian delivered this: ▪️ "Our income is down, not up." ▪️ "We have no electricity, no gas, no petrol." ▪️ "I've spoken with the leadership — this winter we'll close some offices and switch to remote work."
