Surrender isn't the end of a war — it's the beginning of a collapse. Trump isn't chasing a deal, he's chasing capitulation — because for an ideological regime, surrender IS regime change. Just a controlled one. The playbook: choke the economy slowly, strike militarily now and then, build global consensus, shut down all trade — then "escort" the regime to its own end so the shrapnel doesn't fly everywhere. Why does it work? Because ideological authority is a dam. Once it cracks, nobody can hold it. Every second the fracture widens — and moments later there's nothing left. Democratic systems are a green branch: they bend and spring back. Totalitarian systems are dry wood: they don't bend, they snap all at once.
