Blood drips from the red carpet rolled out for diaspora returnees.
Many abroad claim: "We are neutral, we just want to visit our homeland." Yet, history repeats itself precisely through such seemingly harmless excuses.
At the peak of its weakness, the regime rolls out a red carpet—one stained with the blood of Iran's murdered youth. In 1979, tyranny wasn't built overnight; each person simply placed "one brick" upon another until this nightmare was constructed. Someone signed a statement just because others did, unknowingly adding followers to Khamenei's predecessor.
Walking on this red carpet and normalizing this regime makes one complicit in its survival. No one can claim to be entirely blameless.
