دفاع پوتین از لاریجانی

Putin’s Absurd Defense of Larijani: Why is Moscow Mourning a Regime Henchman? Vladimir Putin recently claimed that the removal of Ali Larijani was a "grave mistake" and that he was indispensable for peace in the region. Reality paints the exact opposite picture: Larijani was among the most radical, entrenched figures within the regime's machinery of repression. Larijani’s close ties to Moscow and his direct consultations right before his end reveal why the Kremlin is troubled. Putin is not grieving for peace; he is mourning the loss of a key obedient asset. As the regime’s godfather, Putin naturally laments the loss of his most reliable operatives. What do you think is driving Putin's open defense of the regime's operatives?
