What happened to the Iranian regime's grand "2025 Vision Document" that promised to turn Iran into the region's leading scientific and economic superpower?
Decades of massive budgets and state propaganda culminated in an undeniable failure. While regime figures preach about "scaling the heights of science" at the start of the school year, the reality on the ground is catastrophic: severe economic collapse, underfunded and crumbling schools, and families struggling to afford basic necessities.
Iran is neither first scientifically nor economically—it has been pushed to the bottom of regional rankings by systemic corruption and mismanagement.
