Two years ago, "regime change" was called a false hope. Today it's the first thing Iranians say out loud. Before October 7th, whenever we reported on regime change, the answer was always the same: "That's wishful thinking." Go vote. Go buy gold. Get a second job — the dentist who also sold tires, the man working three or four jobs, everyone quietly stitching a pocket for themselves while saying "they're here to stay, at least for now." That silence is over. A generation that watched the price of bread and the bodies in the streets does not forget. The shift in Iranian public opinion is the real story of these two years.
