"Would YOU like Iraq to have an armed group inside Iran that answers to Baghdad, not Tehran?" That question was reportedly put to Iran's president during his Baghdad visit. He had no answer. The facts: ▪️ Iraq's government says it doesn't want to be dragged into the Iran–US fight — yet Iraqi soil is used to launch attacks on Saudi Arabia. ▪️ An armed force operates inside Iraq, under Tehran's command, outside the state's authority. ▪️ Syria: a decade of war, 300,000–400,000 dead, to keep Assad in power — and he still fell. ▪️ Lebanon: 40 years of interference; today Beirut's own leadership says leave. So every claim about "brotherly relations with our neighbors" collapses. Iran's neighbors no longer take the president's word seriously — they know the decisions are made elsewhere. What's your take?
