Why did they wait forty years?
A blunt question left hanging in the middle of the Natanz and Fordow strike debate: in all these decades, why did no one think to deal with the Middle East's bully — before its reach grew this wide?
The cost of that delay is plain:

And today, confronting it is one of the hardest tasks on earth — even for a power like the United States. Forty years ago it would have been far easier.
